Meet Andrea & Brian
We’re Andrea and Brian. We live in different provinces in Atlantic Canada. We met online and fell in love (too soon) after our first date, but our long-distance interprovincial love story is going strong.

Andrea lives in Halifax, Nova Scotia where she practices law and is a single parent to two adopted children with ADHD who are now teenagers. Andrea is an avid hiker and outdoor enthusiast. Music being one her love languages, she is passionate about live music and discovering new artists. She is also a pretty good cook; just don’t ask her to follow a recipe. Andrea was diagnosed with ADHD when she was 45, and since then has immersed herself in the subject.
Brian is a graphic designer and active transportation advocate who loves to take pictures (and collect images). Brian is a French-speaking Acadian who is based in Moncton, New Brunswick. He is a gifted visual communicator with a number of passion projects (including built heritage, everyday typography and cycling). Brian has two children who are in their 20s. Brian is the more neurotypical partner in our relationship, but we sometimes suspect he has ADHD too.
We counterbalance each other. Brian brings open mindedness and great calm to our relationship which mixes well with Andrea’s enthusiastic approach to life. Even though we live in different provinces, Brian does a great deal every day to help Andrea manage her ADHD.
